The affected segment matters as much as the service number.

A delay may affect the full route, while a platform or station change applies only at one location. Workflows need precise event scope before selecting passengers and content.

Service delay: Apply thresholds and segment impact to the passenger response.
Platform change: Target the station and departure context without changing unrelated segments.
Short turn or skipped stop: Identify who is affected by the revised stopping pattern.
Replacement transport: Coordinate additional instructions and approval when the response leaves the rail service.
